About Us

Desert Canary is a two man acoustic act consisting of Andrew Coston and Steve Rebl who decided to take their passion for playing live music and use it to raise money for their non-profit, the Midlands Gaming Coalition, to help benefit children within the community. That's why anytime you book Desert Canary, all payments are made as a donation to the non-profit and not to Desert Canary.

When booking Desert Canary, you can expect to hear a wide range of music featuring such artists as Merle Haggard, Orville Peck, Johnny Paycheck, David Allan Coe, Charlie Daniels, Chris Stapleton, and Charley Crockett to name a few. We also perform a variety of music outside of the artist listed above and, for a small donation to the non-profit, have been known to take live requests.
